busy like a headless chicken: how to set goals & take steps?

Do you know those days when you walk from hot to her like a pig without a head: a whole day at work, not in the mood for the evening, a wrung-out feeling? You're wondering what I've actually been up to and you can't even remember it!

Good news, this can be fixed:

from now on, you will NOT do ANYTHING you have NO meaningful PURPOSE for!

In other words, everything you do from now on makes sense for you: your move...

your head -attention-

your heart -acceptance-

your actions -action-

... on the same page, so that there is a drive to say

no.

And you do that with the God method. Do you want to experience this for yourself right away? Do the post-it exercise in the blog: get lost in everything on your plate

.

Goal Oriented Doing - knowing & accepting your goals and taking enthusiastic steps in that direction.

PART 1 — Goal Oriented: Knowing Your Goals!

In itself, it doesn't matter who sets your goals: you, your boss, your employees, Uncle Jopie. As long as you know and want where you are going and you, your colleagues and boss are on the same page.

A starting point for your goals is, of course, your job or job description: each of your responsibilities - or a number taken together - can be a separate goal. SMART annual goals and project work can also be goals

.

Once you have accepted your goals, it is important to commit yourself and make full commitment. Otherwise, you will fool others and - much worse - yourself, this hurts your body and, unfortunately, will biologically avenge itself sooner or later. Unfortunately, just take a look around.

As you may know and probably already do, you can easily create categories or labels in most systems. The advice here is to make them match your goals. Work with colors that are familiar to you and... TIP: immediately include the number - or priority - in the label description, so that your system shows it to you already ranked/prioritized. You can then attach those categories to your emails, appointments in your calendar and even actions - tasks in Outlook -! This takes you a maximum of five minutes a day and not only gives you a beautiful overview but also... wings!

Start with one of your goals and see how or if you like it. Many who came before you are happy with it. Along the way, you'll feel purposeful and meaningful.

PART 2 — Doing: taking swift steps!

Once your direction and goals are clear and you can relate to this: go with that banana! Stick everything that comes your way to your right goal - your color category -, take that first step or plan it right away and you'll start to notice a strange difference and you'll gradually feel like you're in charge and eager to be in the drivers' seat!
